She is originally from Oslo, Norway and spent the early part of her career in the hospitality industry, first working for boutique hotel properties and moving into hospitality technology.
Now, Maren works for an experimentation platform in San Francisco, CA.  She lives in a tiny house with her fiancé south of San Francisco.
